We are an intergovernmental and tripartite platform for action in which governments, workers' organizations and employers' organizations work actively to advance together towards the achievement of target 8.7 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), which calls for an end child labour in all its forms by 2025.
Declare Latin America and the Caribbean as the first developing region free of child labour by 2025.
For this, we propose:
Accelerate and intensify actions for the prevention and eradication of child labour, strengthening inter-institutional coordination and promoting coordination between different levels of government within the countries, to offer services to communities, families, children, and adolescents.
Increase awareness about the risks and dangers of child labour, especially of its worst forms.
